Soulseek should burn in hell!! (bearshare, track, song)

I hate that program, it used to be so fine, I downloaded so much rare, hard to find shit off of that...:sigh: And now it won't download squat! It just sits there, "trying" to initialize, paralyzed...

What other programs are there that would do the job? A lot of stuff is still unavailable through public trackers and it seems silly to me to worry about ratio on private music trackers. Also, sometimes I just wanna download a particular song, not the entire album....

I downloaded bearshare at one point, but it sucked major balls, and I couldn't find anything...

I iz sad, help you guys...

I love soulseek - there is a patch you can download that makes it so that you get even more search results.

I would love it if the reach results I currently get would work, but they don't. I tried reinstalling it, it's the same deal. It starts a download, then stops. No idea why.

None that I know of...I download at least 5gb of various data per day. Maybe I should try installing an older version.

Have you looked at queue's? Or if people go offline during the download?

Rare music is getting more popular, people only download, but never upload!

Yeah, I only put files that have no one in queue to download, but even when it eventually starts downloading, all it can manage is one or two files...that's IF it ever starts downloading.
