i don't exacally know what to say, maybe some shopping and chocolate, and good food or something, or takeout, when mum left her 3rd husbanr(my stepdad) we had baked potatoes and salads and somesort of meat almost daily do what you think is best is all i can say

There are acceptable times to do this. Hell, if you had even included some detail as to why you were splitting, it wouldn't have been so bad. But instead, you commanded us to give you attention and to love you. Hell no. For all we know it didn't happen at all.

And r-t, we don't even know who this person is. I wouldn't invest a shred of emotional energy into it.
