Ringtones (mp3, American, song)

alright this came from a delima i had due to the fact the song i wanted for a ringtone was, a) japanese, b) not carried on any form of american cell phones

after moaning about it to a friend they told me a way to get what i wanted on my phone, i was wondering if any other people have had similar expireances i'll tell you how i got mine:

i went to my sounds section, recored the some numerous times till i got the recording i liked, and then i sent it via PIX/TEXT message to myself, saved it as a ring tone and now have it ser for default

are there anyothers like this?

I've got a program from Motorola that lets me edit any MP3 and transfer it to my phone as a ringer. I can also choose any picture for my background and it will resize it and transfer it to the phone. Its called Motorola Phone Tools. If you don't have a Motorola, I'm sure you could got something like it for whatever phone you have.
