I cant stand England sometimes.

On the news today, over 20,000 people complained about Jeremy Clarkson making a few jokes!
We all know what he's like.
If you dont like him, grab the remote and switch off!

Jesus! Who the f*ck are these people?

Get a life!

I friggin' love Clarkson.
And if people don't like british humor, they should move out alltogether.

I just read what it was all about (didn't know yet) and yes with remarks like that you are bound to get criticized. But come on... you just know he's not that serious.

An alumnus from my high school (which graduates between 30-60 people per class, so it's tiny and everyone knows everyone) who is an actor (Broadway, a few small film roles, and a short-lived TV series) is dating a girl who has a TV show coming up in February on NBC. It's called "Smash", and she plays one of the main characters, a woman fighting Katharine McPhee for the role of Marilyn Monroe.

She's a REALLY nice woman, and I'm really hoping this is a successful show - for those of you who've watched Louie or Bones, she's had pretty big parts in episodes of those series, and quite a lot of Broadway success (Wicked, 9 to 5, etc.).

This show could either bomb miserably, or be an extremely popular television series. I see it as NBC's answer to Glee, but with professional theatre instead of high school Glee club. Not really my kind of show premise, but I'm definitely watching it to support one of the nicest peeps I've ever met.

The Soft Parade is definitely the Doors' best album.

Bit miserable. Sorry about that.

And by the way, Jeremy Clarkson said that the strikers ought to be shot in front of their families.
I'll have him know that the strike allowed us to arrive about half an hour earlier than normal this wednesday!

The audience did laugh at that comment. He said something like "how dare they think that they can complain about having their pensions lowered to what the rest of us get?"

I can see a lot of people agreeing with this.

On a related note, my old dad, who is a university professor, got into a huge row with his trade union over this. They wanted him to strike, he said that it was a political strike and wanted nothing to do with it, and in the end he ended up leaving the commitee. He's going to retire soon anyway, so I don't think he'll suffer much.
