American reality shows are usually on obscure TV stations in the middle of the afternoon while i'm at work & are usually aimed at the kind of people who happen to be home at that time, I.E. the housewife & student demographic , so I don't watch them.

And The Partridge Family hasn't been shown on British TV since about 1988 , and even then it was on about 4am.
