My mum is pretty much been on my back to stop smoking, preaching about me spending my money on it. If I wasn't smoking weed, I'd probably drink more, which isn't much better. I can't trust myself to get home safely and uninjured when I'm drunk. Plus I do things I heavily regret.

I smoked way too much this weekend and spent too much time on the couch listening to music while watching Survivorman on mute. As much as I prefer being stoned to being drunk, I at least do things when I'm drinking.

I have upwards of 400 songs recorded of me either solo or jamming with my band from when I'm really baked and under 100 sober songs. I'd call that something.

I did plenty stoned. That was never too much of an issue. The thing I enjoyed most was probably that I felt less aimless when doing things. Like, now, I sit down to write and feel annoyed and obligated. Stoned, I was happy and excited about everything I did.

Drug free since March. Trying to find a job. Hoping for something that pays decent and only does the preliminary screen. I miss smoking. It was great for unwinding, and I'm anxious by nature.
