They both bored me eventually, i think they're for middle aged men who never learned how to play and still have visions of being a rock star personally.

I actually have never heard of rock band till like just now, but I bought guitar hero III this weekend, and so far have been diggin' the song choices a lot more than GHII.

Ultimately though I would say real instruments, cause I don't suck at them, while I am pretty awful at guitar hero.

I've made fun of guitar hero fan boys for a long time and I tell them go learn to play a real guitar but after seeing rock band....I decided to reserve it. I still prefer playing my acoustic but this will be just an added enterntainment value...and it's great for when friends come over.

About seeing how you're gonna die. I mean, on one hand, if dying was all you thought about, it could kind of screw you up. But it could kind of help you, couldn't it? Because you'd know that everything else you can survive.
