Not having shoes is pretty whack though.

For more bitching, I bit my cheek and now there's a laceration there, and it hurts just to close my mouth. And I don't know whether or not we're moving today, but we're packing right now.

I'd really rather you not use people like me for inspiration or to say "at least I'm not one of them!"

I get the broader point you're trying to make, but you should make it differently.
