I understand that you all volunteer and how thankless of a job being a mod is. I don't think it's necessary to patronize ex-mods in that way. It's rude, in my opinion. We are all guilty of making at least one snarky comment to a banned member or whatever, myself included.

Who gives a fuck? Mods have the right to make snarky comments as most people who get infractions or banned were caught breaking the rules(aka being a dickhead). This is just stupid. I like when the mods have fun with people who break the rules, it provides entertainment for them and other members.

meh you aren't getting it.

Someone breaks the rule and gets infraction with snarky message that's basically an insult.

person with infraction replies back in the same fashion but mod doesn't like it and bans.

I wasn't patronizing them? I think they did a very good job. I'm simply noting that factually, DJ's complaint is misplaced.
