^i didnt mean it like that. they are doing what they believe is necessary to bring peace and harmony to their own culture. if it was the other way around, i would do the exact same thing. but youre right, holy wars are bad. how can a war be holy?

Simple really. Every major religion has at some point in history managed to interpret their scripture as saying "you go kill all these people who think something different and you will get eternal peace."

i think this is something alot of religious people cannot understand. i totally agree- religion is principally about having faith- if you have faith, you will be rewarded accordingly.

but i always was disgusted with certain major religions (in the US) that try to convert you to believe their ideology, and condemn people who dont agree with them as sinners and hellbound. I dont notice this kind of behavior from muslims, who typically respect other people's faith and dont try to convert non-muslims.

i think alot of the current issues in the world revolve around religion and race, unfortunately. but the only way you can realize that is if you step outside the box.

Christianity is a joke. religions are jokes. ill believe what i believe, and i believe that no one was ever nailed to a cross, and the next person to get nailed to a cross wont be anytime soon, because i doubt anyone is that sadistic.

It's recorded in history that people were nailed to crosses. Doesn't necessarily mean it was 'god' though.

Is Jesus God's son? I am so confused. I understood at one point in my life, but I think I forgot. Is Jesus God's son or Josephs? And was Mary his mother or what?
