see now you're twisting my words. I never said that all athiests shared the same values, nor did I say that all religious people shared the same values. I'm merely saying that its completely unreasonable to say that people fro whom religion is a large part of their lives have more morals or a stronger sense of right and wrong. I also did not say that believing in god was weak, it's just something that I've personally come to believe to be untrue. I know many very religious people, and I dont think them weak minded or blind followers, though there are people who do blindly follow a religion without taking into account their own opinion or attempting to form their own values outside of their religion.

I think we may have a language barrier over here. In England agnostics are more focused on science and theory rather than non-believers, who simply contest that they do not know, and make no attempt to answer the unanswerable questions. Agnostics are more the open-minded, rather than the disinterested.

Which may have been the same meaning as you have over there, but I figured I'd just make certain.

Personally, I wouldn't class myself as agnostic, because I have no intention of ever attempting to find out the answers to the questions of faith and religion.

I completely agree with you there. There are many who are just going along with the trend of rebelling against the belief in a higher power, and those people are completely pathetic. I however am not one of them. I came to my beliefs on my own terms and for my own reasons, and I have many reasons to back up my beliefs on the subject, as I'm sure you have to back up you're belief that there is a higher power. It's the people that reject the idea of God because they think it to be rebelious or in some way unique and distinctive, or the people who blindly follow their chosen faith without interpreting the teachings in their own minds and considering weather the ideals held by that faith truly coincide with their own who are weaker minded.
