kentucky derby,.....
so,...i'm off this afternoon to a kentucky derby party,.......i love a good horse race
anyone else watchin it? who are your picks,... and sweets, dont you dare say anything about this being random,......lots of people watch the derby

I believe the only thing exciting about it is people putting 1,000's and 1,000's of dollars on one horse, and only to see a race that lasts about 30 seconds, and see a different horse win every year by half a mane.
I just don't see the draw. |

lets see,..... i love the horses,.......its amazing how fast they move,..... i love the smell of the track,.....adrenaline, horse sweat, and money i love to see all the hats the ladies are wearing,.... i've never had a bad time at the track, even if i lost alot of money,.....good friends,.....its fun,......and i always get pretty toasted (i've got two bottles of reisling in the cooler for today) for me, i guess its more of a social event,......and mix that with my love of horses and its a win win

I live about 10 minutes from Churchill Downs (where the derby is held), and I honestly hate the event. The amount of traffic increases by 100x throughout the metro area.
