well, i'm going to have to jump of the "you're an idiot bandwagon," but not for the reasons that many others are.
I will probably be cruified for saying this, but in many areas of the world, revitalized commercial fur trades are helping stabalize ecosystems after the invasion of non-native species who overwhelm the local environment with no natural predators. In those situations, the fur trade is a viable solution. However, the only animal you mentioned was the beaver, which is hardly an invasive species since it does have a wide range of natural predators in North America. The only reason they are at times believed to be a pest is that urban areas are encroaching on their natural habitat, and their damns at times flood these urban areas. Were you to suggest the revival of the beaver fur trade in Argentina, it may have worked, because following the failure of that same project when beavers were introduced there in the 40's, they are now most certainly an invasive species.
So in summary, you have no idea what you're talking about. So unless you find an animal who's fur HAS actually proved to be valuable, and that is legitimately and invasive species that is harming the local ecosystems, kindly take a seat.
