At the end of the article Sweet Nothing posted it says "My Chemical Romance fans plan to march in protest against the media's depiction of the band."

I don't understand what a bunch of 12 year old scene girls expect to achieve.

Emo was a stereotype created by MTV in the 90's, Scene kids have been around since the 70's. I'm not sure if she was truly an emo or a scene kid.
