Default remove vocals??

anyone know how to remove vocals from a song? or a program that can do so? prefarbly one i can download from limewire. thanks

You can't unmix a song, but you can drop channels out of a song. The vocals are typically panned somewhere in the middle so dropping the center channels would probably get rid of the vocals, but probably some other stuff too unfortunately.

all versions of cakewalk allow you to do this. find cakewalk either in a store or *cough* download it *cough* and you should find this to be a piece of cake (pun damn well intended). I do this for sampling. Good luck!
