Why do men/boys pop there collars? (dance, African, quote)

I sit here wondering this...

Now i am not talking about the *** community, because you have been doing it for the longest time and your fashion knows no limits.

But why does the average teen, and sometimes dult do it, and what are they possibly thinking?

Well if I ever wore a collar shirt I left one unpopped because it was kind of tight on the neck. But people who unpop 'em all are just plain SEXY! You didn't notice that? I mean they make it so obvious.

I know the majority of people inside the hip African oriented persuasion pop their collars because when they dance it helps dirt fleet their shoulders.
