I've never liked Obama since he wanted to do that whole ban gun thing.

Nevermind the fact that once guns are outlawed, the only one with the guns are the outlaws.
I try not to get to wrapped up in politics, it's such a headache.
And I don't know a whole hell of alot of what's going on, but put it this way.

If you were a psychopath and wanted to go on a shooting spree at a college, would you choose a completely defenseless college where guns were not allowed on campus, or would you choose a college where the campus police are armed?

Obama can talk. Alot. And very well. And if he proves me wrong, I'm not going to be asshurt about it. If he's elected, I hope I eat my words.

I do not approve of everything McCain wants to do, but I'd rather have him over Obama.
No one I wanted to win will get the chance anyway.

A budget surplus. Where he spurred economic growth and lowered unemployment as well. But it's fine, don't sweat it I was just wondering what your opinion was and what measures need to be taken to help our economy again.

Um no, you said there'd be less corruption without our system of government...so the lack of a government would be anarchy. It's not like you offered some better alternative form of government over what we have now.

If I had any idea I'd run for office.

I think the economy in the Clinton years was largely as good as it was because America was free from War for the first time in 60 years. Still paying War debt from the past yes, but not adding anymore finally. He raised taxes yes, but so has every other president in my lifetime before and since. I'm not sure he managed the money well, but he did a nice job of not rocking the boat while he was in office. In a weird way I am a Clinton fan more so then most other presidents. He's a horrible person at the core, but i'd trust him to run my company I think.

Perhaps he was implying inherent corruption in our current form of government. And that addressing that would be a step in the right direction.

Yeah but what would be the point of addressing it? According to him it's just the product of having a two-party system so unless we operated under a different system of government it would always be there. It makes no sense to me but then again he hasn't really explained what it is about our government that directly causes politicians to be corrupt.

You're aware we have more then two parties right?
