I don't like the fact that Obama sounds like a broken record and keeps promising change but in turn is very vauge on what exactly he is going to do. Most of this is stemming from that whole Clinton/Obama mess. I stopped following after the 2 or 3rd debate. I'm probably missing alot of information.

I honestly haven't heard anything about what McCain is going to do. He doesn't seem very public, or maybe I just miss everything he says.

Either way, none stand out to me as a leader who is going to drastically change America. I remain unpleased.

If you don't want to vote or don't care for them, I'd grant you your position. But don't you think affirming that they have nothing to offer having admittedly not seen them in action recently is unfair?

I wouldn't review an album I hadn't heard all of. I'm not sure its fair to judge a candidate by any rules other than those. Are you going to watch the general election debates?

I want Obama to win because not only is he better than McCain, but then Ron Paul can run in the next election and become the greatest president this country has had in years.

Ron Paul is the guy who wants to go back to the gold standard and eliminate public education?

America's economy is worse than its been in years, hence the decline of the value of dollars.

One of the few things I hate about him. I consider myself a capitalist on pretty much all fronts, and I still think school should be more of a granted right than a business.

Whats the american economy got to do with a British publication suggesting that these two candidates are the best two we've had in awhile?

Keep in mind two things:

1. What businesses do when they compete for dollars, can't that be good for students?

2. What conservatives think the government should do for people. I can see their point to an extent. If people want to be educated, they should educated themselves not expect the government to give it to them, have them take it for granted and then via social promotion be given a certificate saying they are educated despite their evidence to the contrary.

Edit: Also, the economy is not tied to the strength of the dollar.

Hee hee, the debates...reminds me of "The Ballad Of Frankie Lee & Judas Priest." Nothing is revealed...

If I feel I get anything of worth from the first one, then yes. Again, I'm not expecting to be impressed.

I didn't know The Economist was a British publication. Due to the lack of capitalization in the previous post I wrongfully assumed you meant someone who is well educated on economy like a business owner or something of that nature. Even though that mistake was made on my behalf I still feel I should answer two points as they're still worth addressing.

I both agree and disagree. The government should help the basic education of its people to allow them to be fully functional in the modern world. That is to say up through high school.

True, but the strength of the dollar is tied to the economy. If the economy plummits so does the dollar. If the dollar plummits it isn't necesarily true for the economy. America's national debt plus out sourcing putting money in other countries is damaging the national economy (although probably good for global economy) and the that is at least partially why the value of the dollar is declining.
