I didn't think it was that funny, but I didn't find it offensive either. Although that's what Michael Moore does. He makes garishly offensive films - not for satirical (or any otherwise comedic) purposes, but just to piss people off. And there's a SMALL segment of the population that finds them "enlightening" or somehow entertaining.

Poor satire = anything Michael Moore does. Good satire = Thank You For Smoking.

While I recognize the lies and half truths he uses I've always viewed him as more of an entertainer than anything. I can appreciate his satire.

What ruins it for me is he sees himself as a good guy. As saving the world from its ignorance. It's not that this video is offensive, its that it's not clever or funny nor does it give accurate depictions of the examples it uses to make the point it seems to be making.

That point by the way is: "Cops are Racist"

He could be hinting at nothing else. No stats to back it up, no mention of the fact that in all his examples regardless of what was in the persons hand following the orders of police would have avoided the tragic circumstances.
