Well in the film Robert Downey Jr. plays Kirk Lazarus, the multiple Oscar winning australian actor who takes all of his roles so seriously that he undergoes surgery in order to play the part of the black sergeant. I thought the movie was actually really funny on how it makes fun of the film industry and movie stars.
