I hung around with the artists (seriously, like all my friends go to art school or small liberal arts schools now) and hipsters ().

I was popular when I was in high school.
We always do stupid things in school that
teachers always send us to the

My high school wasn't strong on cliques - I guess you could have loosely divided everyone in our year into the druggies group, the petrolheads, the sports players and the large general group. I mainly used to hang out with the general group, but I was friends with people from all groups.

I suppose I was seen as a rebellious nerd. Nerd because I was pretty smart, I did well at school and I like computers (and gaming). Rebellious because I had little regard for rules/conventions and crossed a few legal boundaries back then.

Very loose stereotype lines in my school and I am friends with someone in probably every group up there, but I quit football this year and I am playing a ton of music now, so I guess a half-jock, half rebel then but an artist now. I have gotten good grades in all honors and ap classes though, so I have always been alright in school.

My school had a huge calling for trailer trash...I don't know why, but it seemed like everyone was a redneck to some degree. Also, everyone at my school smoked weed, which was awesome.

Yeah, weed pretty much brought alot of people in my school together. We pretty much just all partied together alot and got along. I went to a pretty open minded high school.

For those still in HS: Do scene kids still exist? Like, the ridiculous candy colored ones. I'm just wondering. That trend didn't hit Texas (or at least my town) until after I graduated. Damn wiener kids with their raccoon hair.
