They are extremely expensive, from what I can gather. Shame. I really want to learn how to play one.

I can imagine they are. I don't know many exotic string instruments that aren't expensive.

My brother's wanted a FortePiano since he was in high school. The one I want to get him is the typical brown wood in finish. It's a fully restored 1804 Anton Walter. Price: 15,000+ USD...
