The 5th Annual Musicbanter Awards 2008
Now that our brother Sleepy Jack has sadly departed the mod nest, I will take it upon myself to carry on his good work. We have 6 weeks left but plenty of time to get a broad range of members to vote. Here we go:
Poster of the Year: Best New Poster (Registered in 2008): Most Improved Poster of the Year: Most Deimproved (they steadily got worse and worse, shut up its a word) Member of the Year: Most Underrated Poster of the Year: Nicest Poster of the Year: Meanest Poster of the Year: Funniest Poster of the Year: Best Avatar of the Year: Best Signature of the Year: Thread of the Year: Most Missed Poster: Best Songwriter of the Year: Smartest Poster of the Year: Best Contributor of the Year: Worst Contributor of the Year: Favorite Moderator of the Year: Least Favorite Moderator of the Year: Biggest Fanboy (list artist next to name): You don't have to vote for every category.

Most Improved Poster of the Year: Sweet Nothing Most Deimproved (they steadily got worse and worse, shut up its a word) Member of the Year: Captain Caveman Most Underrated Poster of the Year: 4ZZZ Nicest Poster of the Year: dreadnaught Meanest Poster of the Year: captain caveman Funniest Poster of the Year: Urban Best Avatar of the Year: Mine Best Signature of the Year: ??? Thread of the Year: Duh...100 things that piss me off about music Most Missed Poster: Molecules because he is not around enough Best Songwriter of the Year: ??? Smartest Poster of the Year: Janszoon Best Contributor of the Year: 4ZZZ, Urban and myself  Worst Contributor of the Year: MURDIE JUNKIE-where are you? Poster of the Year:
Urban, boo boo, and Jackhammer had the most album/other reviews so i will go with them. Best New Poster (Registered in 2008): Fasho and Lucifer Sam both have been posting better and better as time passes. Most Improved Poster of the Year: CAPTIN CAVEMAN seemed to just be mean, but now he is mean and funny. His posts seem to have more humor these days. Keep it up. Most Deimproved (they steadily got worse and worse, shut up its a word) Member of the Year: Proggy Man is a good poster but seems to post less and less if not missing for weeks at a time. Most Underrated Poster of the Year: matious, because I always enjoy his posts. Nicest Poster of the Year: Perhaps Loose Lips Sink Ships would be correct. Meanest Poster of the Year: CAPTIN CAVEMAN is a cruel and relentless poster, but also won my vote for most improved. Funniest Poster of the Year: Wendycal, if I wasn't slamming my head against the wall I was cracking up. Best Avatar of the Year: Piss Me Off, simply because of the Will Smiths. Best Signature of the Year: I am not sure. Thread of the Year: By the way, which one's Pink?-Pink Floyd reviewed Jackhammer's thread on Pink Floyd Reviews. Most Missed Poster: Lucy Lamppost Best Songwriter of the Year: Idk Smartest Poster of the Year: Idk, there are quite a few smart posters. Best Contributor of the Year: Urban, boo boo, and Jackhammer had the most album/other reviews so i will go with them. (same as #1) Worst Contributor of the Year: Hilary wins that for sure. Favorite Moderator of the Year: No favorite, as long as they do there job I am happy. Least Favorite Moderator of the Year: Same as above. Biggest Fanboy (list artist next to name): Unfortunately I have to go with myself here. I have been and still am obsessed with John Frusciante and post about him whenever I get the chance.
