A question to vegetarians

I think Paloma was trying to say, how can the Virgin appear to love God so much when God says homosexuality is a sin and they will all go to Hell.

Alright, so is what I'm missing that the Virgin is a homosexual?

I'm just not sure how The Virgin believing animals were created by man is in anyway related to homosexuality.

Because he said we should eat meat because it's in the Bible that God created it for us to eat, so if we don't eat meat we're going against God, that's why I said it

I don't think I should have to point out that I'm not against any sexual orientation, just that if you're going to advocate the Bible, don't just pick and choose things in it to suit your agenda

I especially don't remember anything in the Bible about it being bad if you don't eat meat (I was born and raised Lutheran, went to the schools and everything for a large chunk of my life), and it's even funnier because didn't he post pork something in another thread? Yeah, the Bible says pork is a no no too

The Bible is hardly relevent for changing others' opinions anyway. If you follow it and believe it tells you that not eating meat is wrong, then by all means follow it. But why should non-believers have to do what it says? I'm not a Christian and never will be, and while I have respect for a religion, I will not start eating meat because the bible tells me to. Besides, I don't think eating meat is wrong. Just that it's not necessarily right by our current standards of consumption.

...I don't...Alright lets start from the start.

The first paragraph and the second paragraph seem completely unrelated to me. Heres what I can, so far, comprehend: Virgin things we created Jellyfish, and that we should be able to eat them because god created them.

I don't understand where homosexuality comes into play at all. Was it brought up prior to your statement? If so, that might be the missing link because I didn't see it. Other threads aside, I'm not seeing how A relates to B here.

Also, I recall something in the bible about not eating shellfish or whatever. I'm not up on Jewish Dietary Code though so that could be way way off. Can we take this to the shoutbox to get to the point quicker?

I'm not a strict follower of Judaism at all, in fact religion doesn't really appeal to me at all. Shellfish are not permitted, but other fish are. I eat shellfish anyways, I don't give a crap. Pork isn't permitted either.

i have question to vegetarians and vegans.

i have been on this "almost" vegetarian/raw food diet. basically, 80% of what i eat is raw - fruits and vegetables. the only processed food i eat is wheat bread. been on this for over a month. purely health reasons.

then i ate bag of chips. several minutes after i finished the entire bag, my back just hurt like hell and i started to shake.

any vegetarians/vegans exerienced that kind of physical reaction to processed food?

hello? only the Old Testament forbade pork, and it was mostly based on the Torah and Tanakh and it's Judaistic law

in the New Testament, God showed Peter all kinds of animals and sez "eat them!"

Jesus was not against any sinners as long as you repent and DON'T do it EVER again
