I had a 560Ti and recently upgraded to the 660Ti as well. 1920 res is fine for either card, which is the res I use for pretty demanding games.

Also, if you don't mind ordering online, there's a 24" Acer on sale for 129.99 at Amazon.
Amazon.com: Acer G246HL Abd 24-Inch Screen LCD-Lit Monitor: Computers & Accessories

I'd recommend LED-lit though. I think there's another 24" Acer that's LED lit for about 160.

24" would be nice, but it's a little too big for my computer arrangement right now. I ended up getting an AOC 21.5" monitor for just under $100 (with a coupon) and this way I don't have to worry about it breaking during shipping.

1920x1080 is glorious.

I have this weird issue that whenever I open up the Chrome Browser I get an error message window that pops up several times and when I go to look at it in Task Manager. I see that several Chrome.exe are running with different memory being taken it. I want to start using Chrome more because it seems like Firefox is a memory hog lately or it has always been but I never noticed. What should I do?

The message says "Your profile could not be opened correctly. Some features may be unavailable. Please check that the profile exists and that you have permission to read and write its contents"

I't's not unusual to see multiple Chrome or Firefox processes running. Each tab is a new process for those browsers, if I'm not mistaken. Just use whatever works best for you, but if you're running into problems running a simple browser, either your computer sucks ass, or you have a virus that you should probably scan for.

I googled the error message and they told me to delete some temporary appdata stuff. So, I'm going to see if that works.

My laptop is pretty awesome tyvm. So I know it's not a problem with my lappy.

Last week or so, I was downloading things pretty smoothly, but all of a sudden my dl speed dropped real low, now I'm lucky to get 15 kb/s, wtf happened? My internet speed/connection is fine, my downloads are just so slow.

When you say your internet speed / connection is fine, by what are you determining this?

Anyway,
Depending on your ISP, you may be getting throttled. Have a look at their policy and whether they place a bandwidth cap or not after a certain amount of bandwidth has been used for the month. If your router has the capability, you can see how much bandwidth you've used for the month and check it against your ISP's limit, if there is one.
Failing that, I'd contact the ISP and describe your problem. They're in the position to determine the issue if it is indeed on their end. Least of all, you could determine whether it's them or not and/or if there's a known issue on their end.

Also, if you haven't already, test downloading from different places to determine whether it's a server-side issue or not.

If you're using a download manager, verify download speeds by testing your vanilla download w/o the manager.

Also run a check on speedtest.net to see what kind of numbers you're getting, if you haven't already. This will rule out server-side issues, as the speedtest servers accommodate far larger bandwidth bursts than a typical server hosting downloads.

My speed test:

Although we just got this Internet and it sucks like hell. It's supposed to be that fiber optic crap but it keeps cutting out and the WiFi signal is weak.

I do this all the time, it's very handy considering I live in the hills and sometimes my internet cuts out, but it also costs me a fortune as I always end up going over my cap...
