I still say if you can do it, hardwire your router. Simple. On the back there should be about five telephone type jacks. Get a yellow ethernet cable (sometimes they're purple) jack one end into the back of your network card (assuming you have one on that POS Chromebook!) and the other into the router. Now you have a hardwired signal, no wireless to worry about, and it shouldn't interfere with your mousey.

Did I do that right, Plankton? I always always always hardwire my router. Even when I had my router downstairs and PC upstairs I got a long extension of ethernet cable and pinned it along the skirting board down the stairs so that I could run the ethernet up to the PC. Never regretted it. Plus, nobody can steal your bandwidth. Not to mention that the signal drops so much less of the time and you get a pretty strong connection.

That is WAY more of a hassle than I have any desire to put myself through.

Assuming your pc and router are in the same room, it's too much hassle to buy one cable and connect it? You lazy ****er. Enjoy your disconnects then.

I think a less headache-inducing solution would be to just get a wired mouse.

As my class taught me, first rule of fixing computer ****: go with the least intrusive method first.
I think you should get a wired serial mouse for a COM port.

This isn't really a tech support question, more so just an enquiry of what application people here use to listen to music. I'm on a MacBook Pro but I'm fed up with iTunes and it's been extra annoying today, so I'm searching for an alternative. I've been surfing the web for awhile but I've yet to find anything that really jumped out at me, so throw something at me.

Ok computer geeks, I need suggestions. I have my main workstation and now a new laptop. Both are running Windows 10 and Office 365.

I need to set up a Cloud "space" so I can do work on either and then upload it for easy access from both PCs.

What should I do???

^ I hope someone can help you with that, Chula. I'm afraid it won't be me though.

Meanwhile, I'm worried about the MB YouTube links being blocked for some reason. For five days I've accessed MB via Google Chrome and Internet Explorer, but all YouTube links remain stubbornly backed out. I wonder:
i) how many other people are having this prob ?
ii) does Yac know about it ?
iii) is there any solution for computer-illiterate people like me?

Most if us have this problem.
We are awaiting word from higher up. Once we know something there'll be an official announcement.

Do you have Gmail? Google Docs is probably a good place to do this. If you go into your Gmail account, you can access Google Docs and this allows you to shard documents from PC to PC. I do it for most things. Either that, or get a Dropbox account. However, Google Docs is free with a Gmail account and it offers 15GB of space off the bat.

Hope this helps.
