4 months in Thailand RT? Do they have English pubs or something that show the footy over there?!?! If not then I can't go.
You would be amazed at how many people know English in Asia. I've never had problems traveling around Southeast Asia, I could seriously just speak English the whole time. Especially a place like Phuket where they expect a lot of tourists.

And football is very popular there as well.

My impression of Thailand has been nice place, but a total culture shift. I could never imagine myself going, now I know that they have football I'd consider it

I might sound cliched and unoriginal but the more I discover of the island I live in, the more I appreciate it's beauty and history.

Who'd have thought it?

I guess I wouldn't have thought someone would perceive England as beautiful, do you live in the north, the midlands or down south?

Where did you get to?

Tour of Thailand went something like this;

Bangkok > Koh Phangan (Haad Rin bay, full moon beach party)> Koh Samui > Malaysia and back to renew visa > Hua Hin > Bangkok > Ayuttiyha(Sp?)(the old capital) > Khanchanaburi (River Kwai and a quick visit to Burma...not recommended) > Chiang Mai > Bangkok > Pattaya > Chon Buri > Koh Chang > Bangkok.

Edit: Photo on way. Had to take a pic of the photo...scanners buggered!

Damn I forgot you live in the North! Yes it's all the South. London, Worcestershire and Gloucestershire. It's not all two up, two down and perpetually grey skies in England u know
