The third picture had a slight tint of blue, it threw me off. I'm going to London in April for the first time since I was about 12 I love Manchester and will always say it's better than London, but in reality London is just fantastic.

The underground subways in the war were used for defence :O very good history to it.

I'm surprised someone is so patriotic to say that England is beautiful. *hat off.*

I think that is what's missing these days from our inhabitants. As a country on the world stage , our presence is almost laughable these days but damn we do still have a beautiful country if we look hard enough.

The english countryside is pretty damn beautiful in places. Especially down in Cornwall where there's some really nice little villages. I'd love to go back there sometime.

I love my country, so proud to be from here, so proud to be a northerner as well. Cornwall and places down south are nice enough, I'd go as far as saying lovely. But beautiful? No. Not for me anyway.

@ Zero1986.
Couldn't help but notice your location, Ireland was a wonderful place when I went, really nice. Nice and green, everything I imagined it to be, except for the fact that I hardly had any money and everything is so damn expensive, 6 euro a pint!

I think there's nothing better than a hot summers day, sun is shining, red post boxes, buses, pasty people out in the sun hoping that they'll get a tan, deck chairs in the garden when it's raining etc.

It's an amazing country, but I dunno about beautiful. Then again I've never really experienced the countryside down south.

It's England to the English and nothing else. Wales, Ireland and Scotland regard themselves separate so we go along with that. I live in England and not Great Britain as far as I'm concerned.

don't have any pics but the nicest place i've ever visited was Guemes Island for the summer of 2000. it's part of Washington state (on the west coast of the US, not DC where the President and White House are - but that's still a cool spot to visit).

Guemes is a small island nestled between the southern tip Vancouver island and the northwestern corner of the continental US. it's position relative to other islands in the area offers a natural protection to the majority of inclement weather also. never too hot, never too cold, always just right.
