OK, sorry to sound uber liberal and all that jazz. but whats with all this anti-newbie bull****? they, like everybody else, just want to come on here and talk about music with people who share similiar interests. some talk absolute crap but a lot of "regulars" do to. it just sounds arsy when somebody completely dismisses what a new member has said with stuff like "stupid newbie" etc. we're meant to be on the brink of adulthood here (some of us are already meant to be adults). we were all new once.

Everyones hated when they start out. Im sure we can all remember that... Its probably just that theres more and more new members joining now, and so theres gonna be more arrogance and spamming and whatever. The 'stupid newbie' comments only come up when theres a newbie whos being stupid... I hope anyway.

alot of the "newbies" (ugh, I hope i never use that word again) are in it for a quick thrill, i.e. they'll post a few times and never come back. Everyone's always skeptical of new people, that's how it works in the real world. But like LedZep said, there's one or two "regulars" that piss me off more than some of the newcomers. Btw, I like that Satchmo guy, I find him in a lot of the posts I'm active in, seems like a cool dude.
And I must have missed the meeting where everyone decided to hate Snickers.
