Default Need for a new forum

i was thinking, wheres the folk forum?! im sure a lot of us are folk fans and it would be nice to have a forum where you can talk about the genre and the artists. anyone agree or shall i crawl back into my hole?

I think it should be combined with the Country forum.

Country is basically a style of American folk music anyway

folk is a more basic form of country. perhaps a sub-forum at least. it gets annoying having to really think about where to put threads on such acts as devandra banhart and willy mason.

I went to a folk festival once... last year infact...at Ely. and I got incredibly drunk. I don't remember the music much. All I really remember was eating a really REALLY good bacon sandwich the morning I woke up with a beast of a hangover...
