Anybody Else Write Poetry? (song lyrics, effects, copyright, band, song)

Ever since band things went haywire a few years ago, I've been so caught up that I hadn't been writing like I used to. A couple months ago I started writing again, and wondered if anybody else does too? Didn't figure this went into any music category so it's here.

I write ****ing poetry all the time because I like to read mine afterwards and it might turn into a song I want to play.

yeah i write too
song lyrics (that i'm never gonna sing... i'm not in a band or anything) and poetry.
my f*cking sister has deleted all my works from my computer to make me angry and i feel so sh*tty right now. it happened this morning and it was today that you guys brought up this subject. oh wow... anyways, i do have some poems saved in another pc so yeah, we could post our works in here... but are you sure it's safe? a lot of people could read them, like 'em and then, of course, use them

I was thinking about sharing some...but it's more of me finding which one's I'd want to post, and thinking of some newer stuff that effects me now that I was gonna post. I'll post some in a bit....not today cause I'm kind of busy and just doing a check on things.

well, I write poetry all the time, mainly when I write, they are meant to be used in punk songs...for my band! in the future you know...they are really kool too, songs like Wind up your Kilt, and Cough Syrup Soup, and Street Girl
I would post them up here, but I do plan on getting a band going someday, and can't have any of my material stolen before I get it recognized or copyrighted....
not accusing anyone of that, but ya know....
they are mainly in storage right now....
one day you will hear of me in a small time punk band...

i write mainly cause i want them to be songs but ahv no musical talent so they remain as poems, plus writing for me is one of the greatest stress relievers i get to clear out my brain n it generally turns out to be hilarious or tearjerking when i read over stuff that i wrote in the past.

i spend a lot of time writing. from what iv seen on here, all the people that dont sleep do a lot of writing.
