ok im relatively new to this site and i have no frickin clue how to get an avatar. i know you had to get to a certain amount of posts, which i got to, but how do you get the avatar? can you upload your own or do you have to choose from some gallery that i dont know about? im confused. i really dont wanna have a blank space under my username.

You can upload your own or use something on a site , as long as it`s 80x80

go to user CP & click on edit avatar

k i did that. it just says "your current avatar." then in this little box it says "no avatar specified". then theres this little button thing that says do not use an avatar and its clicked in the little circle and i cant unclick it. maybe i screwed something up while registering. how can i fix that?

try clicking the box that says Use Custom Avatar

ok i figured it out. clicked around a bit. i guess you have to customize your little title thingy before you get an avatar. whatever. thanks for your help. sorry if i was annoying.
