I Can't believe I just read this entire thread on Apple/Orange I still don't know what to say.
Oh Well I'll give you my slice........,........, I think Apples are decent computers and Orange is a phone network.

Oranges have segments that work as a whole, apples are just ... blobs. Obviously oranges, as more textured, are more sensual then apples. THat and as they're more organised and have stronger weapons (hello? Acid anybody) they could trounce apples infull scale ware.
