Tattoos on Chicks (Celtic, quote, artist)

I recently got a tattoo on my lower back. i want to get a few more on my wrist, shoulders and chest. My boyfriend told me he thinks tattooed chicks are trashy looking and gross. in his opinion, one is enough. whats your take, gross and trashy or cool and unique?

Tatoo's can be cool if they have meaning.

Though, I doubt the tat on your lower back has any at all. I'm guessing it's a big black design taking up a large amount of skin?

Oh, and they aren't really unique. Everyone has tattoos. But once again, if there is a reason for it, it can be.

**** no. it goes up my spine. full color, two butterflies flying up my spine. the two butterflies represent two very close people that i lost, theyre flying up because theyre free now.

Everyone has the exact same tattoos. Its either a celtic thing on their lower back or a rose of some kind on their ankle.

If theyre not ones picked off the walls, theyre nearly always great.

I have several big black designs that take up large amounts of my skin, my personal preferance. My wife has a nice tribal chestpiece similar to mine and she just got a skull and crossbones with pink pigtails and blue ribbons on her arm that turned out really nice. I like tats on women, again, a personal preferance.

im sure several people have the same tats as I do, i got them from a celtic tribe book (except for my back, that came from a samoan tribe), not off the wall at some shop though, i actually took time to look into them and the meanings behind them before i decided to go with what i have now.

hurray! a supporter. mine wasnt off the wall either. i told my artist what i wanted and he drew me my very own design.

Drop the ZERO and get with the HERO!!!!!!!!!! lol. No seriously, my take is that it depends on where they are and what they are. I dont like chest and belly tattoos on girls. I LOVE girls with full sleeves!!!!!!!! (Sexy!), and the small of the back is always a nice tattoo area for girls even if every girl in the world has a tattoo there.
