I did a 37 mile (about 59.5 km) bike ride this past weekend, which may not seem like alot to some of you super-sporty people out there, but was a huge accomplishment for moi. My dad did 100 mi (161 km). I'm so proud of him. And a little shamed that a 50 y.o. man out-cycled me.
And all this happened in 97ºF/36ºC heat, with no shade or cloud cover. Thought I was going to die, but I made it! Yay me! |
