Welcome back. Unfortunately, this place has (apparently, though I'm no witness) seen it's glory days come and go. Still lots of good discussion since I've joined, but rather infrequent and slow.

It depends on what you're into. Punk is dead, metal is moderately active, alternative is deceptively dead, though there are a bunch of alt nerds who just don't post much. Posting is too mainstream for them.
