Hicksville. I guess elsewhere they are "slant rhymes."

It's pronounced Throatwobbler Mangrove, or Trole hart, if you wish. Unless he's called Doleface, no rhyme, you lose.

Round hur "doll" sounds like "mall" and "troll" sounds like "mole". So not any kind of rhyme whatsoever.

OK my bad for saying they "rhyme." I say /trəll/ and /dəll/ and that's just my own lazy tongue, mumbley, horrible mix of Pittsburgh and Mid-Atlantic accents.

Technically they can still be considered a "slant rhyme."

I thought the whole point of Webster's crappy dictionary was to spell things how they were pronounced? If you're going to **** up pronunciation that bad why not just spell things the way they're supposed to be spelt?

I think because troll is originally a Norwegian word it makes it a little harder to decide exactly how it's pronounced, though I have heard "troll" to rhyme with "call" used, but when you look at internet trolls, they refer to them as rhyming with bowls, so I personally have always said the latter, and that's how my username is pronounced, and should be.

tl;dr: It's Trollheart to rhyme with stole heart, not Trollheart to rhyme with ball heart.

I don't know why. It seems so boring to me to gang up on the poor old man. He usually has a point just goes about saying it the wrong way and you all just dogpile for shits and giggles. That's completely boring to me.

I like some drama but there are definitely times when it goes over the line and people end up bringing family members into it that don't even post on this forum. When it crosses over into rl shit that's when I have issues with it.

Therefore never send to know for whom the Batlord trolls; he trolls for thee.
