I also have a Shiba Inu who doesn't do much because of his epilepsy meds.

I remember that dog as dog #1, the friendly dog.

Dog #2 was the one that looked vicious.

That is one cute dog.
Sorry to hear the other one has epilepsy; I had one once, a Golden Retriever/Lab cross, and it was horrifying to see him, not only take his fits (as we tried to help him through them) but to know he didn't understand what was happening. I mean, my sister (my other sister) has this too and it's ****ing terrifying, but at least she knows what's happening to her. Poor dog. Is he old?

Ja the fits are awful. Giving them honey raises their blood sugar and has been pretty effective based on my anecdotal evidence, but even then it takes a minute it so to start working and there's nothing you can do until it subsides. He's four years old.

I'd post a pic but I don't know if little Leo can handle all of the hurtful comments from MLM.

I'm sure if he knows he has a condition the Monkey will be kind.
We never got any treatment for Bruce (wasn't anything like that here in the eighties); all we could do was wrap him in towels and keep petting him till the fit subsided. The way his legs would stiffen was really scary, and makes me glad I never have to see my sister like that. Not sure I could handle that with a human.

We had a dog who would have seizures when she got older, near the end of her life. Watching a 160 lb Saint Bernard lock up and just hit the ground with a thump and start convulsing is pretty ****ed up. And she was such a sweet marshmallow and would come out of it ten seconds later and rush up to us, terrified, for comfort that it was horrible.
