Default Pet Stories

We have the pets' picture thread, but how about one in which we share cute, crazy, interesting or other stories about our pets?

I remember some good long time ago, Ritchie, my cat who has now passed on, was out in the garden when a helicopter went overhead. ****er got up on his hind legs and tried to swat the damn thing out of the sky! If only I had had a camera!

I was a bit scared to pick up my dog to bath him during his life, because he could be a bit aggressive to people who weren't my dad, and bite you. On the day he was due to be put down (he was 18 and could barely walk) I decided I might as well try to pick him up and bath him myself with his shampoo, so I did and he didn't bite. Then I dried him and let him eat all of his treats.

My dog couldn’t break his turd off for like 5 minutes so I decided to reach down there and help him out and when I finished I noticed the mailman was watching me.

Sorry to hear about your dog, Monkey, but 18 is a great age. When we used to bathe (occasionally) our dog, he would struggle like ****, then once clean, barrel down the stairs (knocking aside anyone in his way), out the garden and roll in the muck! Dogs! Ya gotta love 'em huh?

Dogs are great I just don't want to own another, because of the smell/mess mainly. Don't really want to have to put another dog down either, didn't think I would be that bothered but when it happened, I was

Putting a dog down was the hardest thing I had to do. We had a Collie and she was a sweet dog, but she had suffered for so long by this point. She looked at me as if to say goodbye and that was it. I cried like a baby.

So I know what you probably went through, Monkey.
