Released in 2003 it was mainly written by guitarist Ben Moody, many mistaken as Amy as the writer because of her late sister although she did contribute to the bridge. Inspired by the death of Moody's his grandfather as piano rock style that peaked in over ten counties in the top ten charts.

The song in its self can be seen in a few ways, mainly touching of those with a lover or sibling that in return of their love they give nothing but chaos in return, causing the a loss in self-worth because of a betrayal, he/she wants to be ridden of this person, to take all there painful love and memories with them. "I'm so tired of being here Suppressed by all my childish fears"

She has had enough of the emotional impact this person is having in her life and her fears of realising helplessness.

"These wounds won't seem to heal"

She is emotional scarred, He/she betrayed them or hurt them in a way that he/she can never forget or recover from the emotional damage they caused.

She is struggling with her life with and without him, even after leaving she is left with the torments of her past.
