Finished not long ago - His dark materials - Phillip Pullman. Best fantasy I've read in a while. Everyone should read it, it's astonishing.

Currently finishing - Atomised - Michel Houellebecq - an incredibly bleak portrait of the modern materialistic world, full of depression, nihilism and sexual frustration. Didn't particularly enjoy it...
