Manchester By The Sea

Finally got around to seeing this, Casey Affleck seriously runs circles around his brother. If you have not seen trailers or commercials for this film, I recommend avoiding them and just going ahead and seeing it. It flashes back to moments of happiness, then flash forward presently and it turns into the most depressing movie I've seen of last year. Acting is phenomenal, I really loved this movie. Affleck gets my vote for best actor.

I'll check it out. He's been one of my absolute favourites ever since The Assassination of Jesse James.

Just saw this last night. I'm right there with you. This film kicked the sh*t out of me. Air tight script and THE best acting performance of the year from Casey Affleck. Go into this one prepared to have your guts ripped out though.

I was sitting around on NYE doing nothing and watched The Hateful Eight. Predictable snorefest. Then I watched Jack Reacher. Same. I guess I need to splurge and spend a few bucks instead of settling for 'on demand' crap.

Hatefull eight wasn't the best one, I agree. Jack Reacher was a nice pew pew pew movie :P. But not as good at the first one (in my opinion).

Anyway the last movie I watched was The Accountant, it was an OK movie. If you just want to see a nice action movie, this is a very good one. Also in my opinion they did the autism things in the movie quit OK.

I loved The Accountant. One because I'm going to be one in the future and two because it was awesome to see sn accountant being bad ass instead of the dorky glasses wearing trope that most accountants get shoved into on the big screen. Also, the story wrapped itself up nicely but you can also see them continuing it if they wanted to.

I watched Wrestle Kingdom 11. Great show, amazing card, all the matches were great. First half of the show were great matches but weren't the incredible things I was hoping for. The second half was incredible. The junior heavyweight, never openweight, and the intercontinental matches had me almost jumping out of my seat. The main event did have me jumping out of my seat. Omega and Okada had just an incredible match. I really wanted Omega to win but can't say I'm displeased with the main event.
