Default Anthony Minghella dies @ 54

Anthony Minghella director of The English Patient, Cold Mountain and more recently Breaking And Entering has died of a brain haemorrhage at 54. He also contributed to Grange Hill when the show was in it's infancy. Although he wasnt one of my favourite directors to die early is always devastating. I have Breaking... in my to watch pile. I think I will watch it tonight. R.I.P

He also wrote the screenplay for The Talented Mr. Ripley, was ex. producer of Michael Clayton. He had a few other films and a directed a couple of plays but I can't remember their names.

I think I'll have a Anthony Minghella movie night as well.

Sad. He was a very talented director. And his movies tend to get a bad rap from more discriminating moviegoers.
