I gave up being a BB non-conformist a coupla years ago and this year... it's stimulating the usual mix of misanthropy and morbid fascination. I love it.
Ofcourse celebrity culture can eat my **** and you'd have be clinically insane to even entertain the idea of auditioning for the show; but it hits the same spots as a good soap opera and each year it's also interesting to see just how low the producers will go, how far they will push these poor suckers. Evil geniuses behind the cameras at Channel 4. At the end of the day the workforces need something to brighten up their day after a good credit binge, don't they? My fave to win: Luke Who I want to win: undecided |

There's generally something lacking in the majority of BB contestants (other than their dignity), I warm to the ones with something between their ears. I haven't seen much of the American one but what I saw was horrible. What the UK version lacks in bleached teeth and orange complexion it makes up for in sheer character... Channel 4 producers really know how to manipulate the handicapped and mentally unstable for ratings. |
