I loved the show. I imagine I would love the comic in a different way. Bit nervous about season 2. Really hope they live up to season 1.

If they stick to even 20% of the comic story line then it can't be worse than season 1

I guess season 1 is better thought of as its own thing

Why the hell did you go into a comic store? And so long as you got a Batman graphic novel then you probably did alright.

**** poor people who cares. They listen to Nickelback and Lil Wayne.

And if you want Batman going up against corruption in the police and political establishment then Year One is what's up. It also just so happens to be like a top 5 Batman comic.

he's the "good guy" you're supposed to sympathize with him he's not Rorchac where nobody was even supposed to like him so all bets are off
No, but he does ruin a rich people dinner party.

Behold, the dinner scene from Batman: Year One. The only Batman origin story that will ever matter. Damn it, now I wanna read it again.

And yes, it is actually referred to as "the dinner scene" by comic nerds.

Spoiler for epic ****:

Is it just me, or does Batman seem to have a moustache in the final panel, and, if he has, is it shaped like a bat? Or is that just the lighting?
