I like Jeff Bridges a lot. I think he's best in drama movies where he plays vulnerable characters, like The Fisher King or Crazy Heart, even if he's mostly remembered as the guy who played The Dude (The Big Lebowski).

Bill Murray's characters may not always be that diverse, but they are always interesting to watch. Back in the day, he was funny and sarcastic (Groundhog Day, Ghostbusters) while later in his career, his roles tend to be more introverted, quirky and fun to watch. Especially in Wes Anderson films like Rushmore or The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou!

I've a few times been impressed with Christian Bale and how dedicated he is as an actor, for example how he starved himself for his part in The Machinist.

He's one of those actors that can seem like an entirely different person depending on the movie. Still, his characters always seem "off" in some way and he's not yet played a dramatic role in which I really sympathized with him. I would love to see him pull that off, though.

There are many good movies if you go back in time, f.ex One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Chinatown or The Shining.

Daniel Craig. He's tough and he can be a wildman and kick your ass.
Sean Connery, same thing.
Christopher Lambert-Been a favorite since Highlander
Ray Liotta-also can kick your ass
Paul Gross. He can act, write, produce, direct, and sing!
Josh Lucas- good ol' boy who can act
Callum Keith Rennie- Lucas' brother in The Firm. He's versatile
David Duchovny- he's plain wicked

Actresses
Mila Kunis-just look at her. Nuff said
Maureen O'Hara-in the good ol' days
Tina Fey-cause she makes me laugh.

I have quite a few actors I love, but I'll narrow it down to a male and a female along with a list of some of my favorite performances of theirs.

Actor - Gene Hackman - The French Connection, The Conversation, Unforgiven, Hoosiers, Bonnie and Clyde, Mississippi Burning, I Never Sang For My Father, The Poseidon Adventure, Night Moves, Under Fire, Twice in a Lifetime, Bat 21, Crimson Tide, The Royal Tenenbaums, etc..

Actress - Audrey Hepburn - Roman Holiday, Sabrina, War and Peace, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Love in the Afternoon, The Nun's Story, Charade, My Fair Lady, Two For the Road, Wait Until Dark, etc..

I think the best in the business right now is JGL, who will really get to prove it with Looper this weekend...

Gene Wilder is my number 1. for so many reasons, the man is just brilliant.
Kiefer Sutherland, he's hot and talented.
Harvey Keitel, cause he's awesome.
Danny Trejo is a serious badass.

Bryan Cranston: Seeing him in Breaking Bad is like watching someone paint a canvas. He is so good at potraying such a vile human being haha.

Aaron Paul: Also great in Breaking Bad, the dude is a total roller coaster of emotions. Gatorade me, BETCH!

Charlie Day: Brilliant in Horrible Bosses, dude needs more comedy roles like this.

Leslie Mann: She cracks me up and is beautiful as well.

Christopher Waltz: He was so good in Inglorious Bastards, and was my favorite character in Django.

Mila Kunis: Hot girls that are funny is a weakness of mine

Paul Rudd: He can make anything funny, be it ridiculous sayings "SLAP DA BASS" or just really awkward dialogue: he is just a naturally talented comedian.

I agree about Christian Bale, the dedication of his role in The Machinist is just amazing, and then he puts on so much muscle and beefs up for Batman and the likes!
