Default God's Not Dead

God's Not Dead | Official Full Movie Trailer - YouTube

This movie looks atrocious and seems full of religious cliches about atheists. A part of me wants to check it out simply because I need a good laugh, but at the same time, I don't want to give the studio behind this any money, plus I'd probably get pissed at the atheist misrepresentation and end up throwing popcorn at the screen.

It's been a sleeper hit at the box office, so I was wondering if anyone has seen this yet? This looks like an interesting film to discuss, simply because of the religious debate it sparks and also because of it's importance in pop culture.

propaganda....trying to create a view that christians are some form of oppressed minority

literally everything about this movie reeks of pious shit and a concept that American christians live in a world of religious persecution in a land with "in god we trust" on every currency

if this movie looks atrocious why did you bring attention to it?

my christian friends even think this looks like a pile of crap

I've posted about it on one of my favorite political forums and it generated a huge discussion as well as a few arguments from both Christians and Atheists. So I thought I'd do the same here.

Regardless of whether you identify as a Christian or not, I'd say pretty much anyone would think this movie looks shit.

Well then, what I've seen on Facebook/Twitter lately may surprise you.

It's actually kind of sad how many people are on that page.

Check out his FB page. He's gone full fundamentalist now. Not only that, but his page is one of the most unprofessional things I've seen. He literally posts every single thing that comes to mind.
