God damn. I think you were here for like a month back when I first joined, before dropping off the face of the Earth. Welcome back, I guess.

I tried Chew, but couldn't get into it.

Always on the lookout for some serious graphic novel recommendations tho (because I'm a serious person).
I just finished 100 Bullets tonight. It was good, maybe not as amazing as it could have been considering the great premise, but I enjoyed it. If really over-the-top crime fiction is appealing to you, it's worth a read.

I figure this is probably doomed to failure yet again, but I'm on a comic binge again and remembered this thread. Any ideas for how it could be made into something that gets more participation?

Thanks to my father, Sergio Aragones' Groo the Wanderer was how I learned to read as a child. ("Feckless mendicant" was a favorite early phrase.) A few years ago I picked up a signed copy of Pacific Comics issue #1 in memory of my late father. If I ever propagate and have a demon spawn of my own, I'll make sure to initiate him/her properly.

I finally have a new tablet so I am starting to get back into using comixology again. I have a few lined up that I need to read but once I finish those. I'm up for attempting this again.
