Default TV shows you have given up on

Seems to me I made this thread before but it doesn't show up in a search so...

What shows have you started watching then though, hell with this? I'm just going to leave a list here and if anyone wants to talk about them - either how they think I should give a show another chance or they agree it wasn't worth the time - feel free. And obviously post your own too.

The Young Pope
Mr Robot
Continuum
Vinyl
Aquarius

If I think of others I'll add them.

Let's all talk about shows we don't care about talking about or have a working knowledge of.

The Walking Dead and Mr. Robot, I don't intend on finishing either.

The Sopranos and Six Feet Under simply because they're massively daunting and I needed a break to watch other **** for a change, I intend on finishing both.

^ Sopranos is certainly worth finishing, I'd say.

The Walking Dead: It bored me to tears; I watched it when it first came out, and also watched various episodes from later seasons when friends were watching them. I suppose my indifference to zombie themes doesn't help.

Daredevil: I do very much like this show overall (though not nearly as much as Jessica Jones, and likewise, I'm sure I'll enjoy Luke Cage and Punisher far more) but eventually I just became ambivalent. I can't pinpoint why-- I think the yellow-heavy color scheme makes me sleepy for some odd reason.

Lucifer: I watched a few episodes, and the dialogue between Lucifer and the detective lady was just too cringe-inducing. I was thoroughly unimpressed. (I just cannot endure bad writing even if the themes are interesting)

Lost Girl: I have a great affection for this ridiculous show (as it combines all of my more embarrassing interests), but I can't seem to garner the willpower to finish even the first season. A similar thing happened with iZombie; I quickly grow bored of Mystery of the Day-type shows.

Agents of Shield: Forgettable. I believe I watched the first few episodes, but I cannot even remember them.

Dead Like Me: I loved many things about this show, and of course I can't resist any show centered around death-related themes, but I wasn't able to finish it. I'm not sure why.

I honestly can't choose between JJ and DD (especially since I still haven't seen the 2nd season of DD), but please tell me you've at least read Alias? It's pretty amazing.

I haven't, but I'll add it to the list. (If I don't buy the pixie harp I'll be able to buy at least ten different comics and graphic novels)

And I truly can't name a single thing wrong with Daredevil; I love the pacing and the atmosphere, I was just far more emotionally invested in Jessica Jones.

I am so looking forward to the next season of Daredevil. Shame on you Chiomara.

I've given up on:

Mr. Robot
Flash
Arrow
The Walking Dead
House of Cards
Agents of Shield

There's more but I can't remember right now.

Alias is amazing. You won't be disappointed in the least. And I'll always love DD for the long one-shot of DD fighting an entire building of dudes at once. That was just one of the best action scenes ever. Both shows make me cum though. And if they use JJ as a way to introduce Hellcat (Jessica's adopted sister) then I will be even more thrilled.

I think Daredevil S1 was a lot better than Jessica Jones S1. And the second season blew it away. Luke Cage doesn't come close to either.

Did ya know why DD ended up off-screen a few times during that one-shot scene?

So they could switch out DD stunt doubles. No one dude could pull off the entire scene by himself.
