Swamp rock you say? I'll be giving a listen, I'm a sucker for genre descriptions.

Cool. They're killer live. They're a hard working band on this side of the lake, hard partying too which is why I call this one: Beer

Kinda makes me thirsty.

Been listening to some Big Black Delta lately (I wonder if Jeff Lynne has gotten a hold of them yet for some mixing tips lol):

...and thanks to Moss, or Chula (I forget which), some Big Wreck. Here's a great SRV rip in the solo on this tune:

You're welcome. Big Wreck is so damn good. Pick up:

- The Pleasure and the Greed
- In Loving Memory
- Albatross

^^Thanks for the recs^^

A few days a go, I decided to create a Reverb Nation account for Planktons Odyssey (my music project), and so far I've been inundated with constant fan requests. I'll usuaally go into the profiles of the people requesting and check out their music to see whats what in the world of personal recording, and I come across people like this:

Adam Gordon Music, Lyrics, Songs, and Videos

There's some amazing, undiscovered talent out there. I'll do my best to spotlight them in this small corner of the world.

I'm a couple days late, but his birthday was the 6th. He solidified my pursuit of the six string when I first heard The Blizzard Of Ozz.

Billy Gibbons (from ZZ Top) is celebrating his 65th birthday today. His earlier band "The Moving Sidewalks" released one LP and spent some time as an opening act for Jimi Hendrix. Billy has said that Jimi taught him how to "bend strings" when he was about 17 years old. Pretty cool stuff I never knew until today. Here's their version of "I Wanna Hold Your Hand":
